Danielle D

After years of consistently good grades at school, particularly within the creative subjects, Danielle went on to study at Plymouth University, from which she graduated with a BA in Fine Art. From there she continued with her education, which lead into a career of teaching and working within Art Therapy until 2014. After having her daughter in 2013 it was time for the baby seat to get in the back, and her passion for art to get in the driving seat.

Being a Devonshire girl, Danielle was able to take inspiration from this beautiful part of the country in which she lives from the cows in neighbouring fields, which helped establish her base character of 'Buddy'.  The progression of 'Buddy' the cow and other characters has since been inspired from the love of her child, her family, and friends.

"Buddy is my happy expression of an emotion I never knew until I became a mother, it's hard to feel anything but happiness when there is a cheeky, happy face nearby - I'm hoping that's the effect that Buddy (and friends) give when they're upon your walls!"

Our Artists are able to do commission pieces. If you see a painting that is sold they will be more than happy to do something similar for you. Please contact us for more information.
